In 1938 Pablo Picasso painted Head of Marie Thérèse , a masterpiece through which he experimented with new techniques and styles through geometric shapes, squares, triangles and circles .
80 years later, the renowned Mallorcan artist René Mäkelä made this reinterpretation with Head of Cara Delevingne , using as inspiration the work of the famous painter and the face of the actress and model Cara Delevingne, one of his favorite icons of this century, in addition to being an enthusiastic collector of his work.
Such is the taste for her art that the actress and model did not hesitate to ask René for the portrait he made of her in oil on canvas titled Angel and Demon , in which she mixes Cara's most powerful appearance with her most angelic environment, in a complicated game of faces that Mäkelä executes to perfection.
