The New Yorker Tupac Shakur was one of the most influential rappers of all time, and also one of the best-selling musicians in history. A life of lights, and some shadows, that René Mäkelä wanted to immortalize with this creation titled 2PAC, framed in his famous pictorial series Hip-Hop Angels .

In its preparation it used a style of painting, in oil on canvas, but with a palette, which gives a magical effect and greater complexity to the technique .

2Pac was shot in Las Vegas in the worst era of rap bands in memory, always marked by extreme violence. His crime was never solved. The same fate befell Notorius Big , first a great friend of Tupac and later considered a rival and suspect in the crime, who also died shortly after under similar circumstances.
